Job Description
Data Scientist - Fully Remote (UK) - Up to £60,000 - Azure - Power BI - Machine Learning

I am working with a friendly and flexible business that is right at the beginning of its Data Science journey and they are looking for someone who wants to help shape what that future looks like.
\n
This role is perfect for someone who has been working as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, has strong Power BI skills and are now ready to step into a position where they can own the reporting function and drive forward machine learning and forecasting work.
\n
If you enjoy variety, like having real influence and want to help a business build its data science capability from the ground up, this could be a fantastic next step.

\n Creating, developing and taking full ownership of Power BI dashboards used across the organisation
\n
Designing and deploying ML models with Azure Machine Learning
\n
Leading retail demand forecasting projects that support key operational decisions
\n
Partnering with stakeholders to understand problems and deliver meaningful data‑led solutions
\n
Supporting the move from legacy tooling into the Azure ecosystem (Azure SQL, Synapse, ADF)
\n
Helping shape new processes and contributing to a data‑driven culture
\n

Looking For:
\n
\n Strong Power BI experience (DAX, modelling, dashboard development)
\n
Proven Azure skills, especially Azure ML
\n
Hands‑on machine learning and retail forecasting experience
\n
Background in Data Science, Data/BI Analytics, or similar
\n
Solid Python and SQL skills
\n
Someone who enjoys both the visualisation and data science sides of the role
\n
Great communication skills and the confidence to guide non‑technical stakeholders
\n
