Data Scientist:

£50,000 - £85,000

Xcede have just started working with a one of the UK’s leading tech hospitality staffing companies. Wanting to grow their fifty-person team, you will have a direct, meaningful impact on how effectively businesses can use their staff. By applying your analytical, model-building and problem-solving skills, you will evaluate operational data to optimise the deployment of labour.

In this role, you’ll design data-driven systems that forecast staffing needs, enhance service performance, and uncover insights from operational information across multiple well-known hospitality brands. You’ll also help create scalable tooling to support analytics and work closely with teams across the business to turn challenges into practical solutions

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience creating and shipping real-world AI solutions
• Strong analytical mindset demonstrated through study or industry work
• Confident using Python and common machine-learning toolsets
• Decent grasp of key ML methods and when to apply them
• Experience delivering ML features in areas like forecasting, optimisation or vision
• Ability to work with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
• Solid in maths and statistics for interpreting complex data
• Wanting to broaden core server-side engineering skills to help deploy ML components into the wider platform.
