Data Warehouse Developer – Cheshire – Up to £60,000 + Benefits £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits Cheshire | Mon-Fri | Full time | Hybrid Working We’re working with a growing international business that is investing heavily in its data capability as part of a wider digital transformation programme. With operations across multiple regions and a complex systems landscape, they are looking to bring in a Data Warehouse Developer to shape and strengthen their central data platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building things properly, not just maintaining legacy systems, and who wants to play a key role in creating a reliable, scalable data environment that supports decision‑making across the business. The Role You’ll be responsible for designing and developing the company’s data warehouse, bringing together data from multiple systems into a structured and accessible format. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help turn data into something meaningful and usable. Day to day, you’ll be:
Building and improving data pipelines to bring together information from different sources Structuring and modelling data so it is easy to use for reporting and analysis Working alongside BI teams to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable Monitoring performance and making improvements where needed Troubleshooting issues and supporting users when things don’t quite go to plan Contributing ideas on how to improve the overall data environment and processes
Experience needed
Experience working in a data warehouse or a similar data‑focused role Strong SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery or similar) Understanding of data quality, governance, and best practices A problem‑solving mindset with good attention to detail Someone comfortable working with both technical teams and business users
