Day Shift Team Leader – Energy from Waste c£62,000 + annual bonus scheme + excellent benefits Exeter MC Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Team Leader to join an industry-leading energy and resource recovery business at their state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most forward-thinking organisations in the waste-to-energy sector. As the Day Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for: · Leading the shift team and supervising day-to-day operations of the ERF, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including · Overseeing safe and efficient running of the facility to maximise throughput and power export · Acting as Senior Authorised Person (SAP), managing the Safe System of Work and supervising contractors on site · Supporting continuous improvement of HSE standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits · Leading emergency drills and initiating investigations into incidents with objectivity and professionalism · Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external contractors · Other duties as required To be considered for this position, you should have: · Power industry, navy or process knowledge of systems such as HP steam, boilers, electrical generation and emissions. · An ability to carry out...
