Cleaning Operative - DA6 7ND

PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for a reliable Cleaning Operative to work on a commercial cleaning contract. This is a morning shift role, ideal for someone who is organised, proactive and able to maintain high cleaning standards while working independently or as part of a team.

Please note: DBS within the last 12 months is required

Pay Rate: £14.14 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 11:00

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, ensuring all areas are cleaned safely and efficiently while following health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas of the building Clean communal areas, offices, corridors and stairwells Maintain cleanliness of toilets, ensuring they are cleaned and fully stocked Sweep, mop and maintain hard and soft flooring to a high standard Clean lifts, doors, windows, surfaces and kickboards Ensure all rubbish is removed and disposed of correctly Follow COSHH regulations and all health & safety procedures Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored correctly after use Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor/manager Deliver a professional and courteous service at all timesRequirements:
