Deburrer / Precision Metal Finisher

You will be required to do the drilling and deburring of aerospace components within the machine shop using various manual techniques. You will need to produce work within cost and initiate cost saving ideas. You must keep your working area clean and productive utilising 5S Principles.
Core Shift Times Monday to Thursday - 7am/7.30am until 3.45pm/4.15pm M-Th and Fridays 7am/7.30am until 11am/11.30am Friday
Rates: Before 12 weeks Core Days £16.84 OT 37HRS £25.25 Sundays £33.67
After 12 weeks Core Days £17.34 OT 37HRS £26/02 Sundays £34.69
Required Experience:
Experience with electrical windy gun would be beneficial Apprenticeship served or equivalent standard of training and/or experience Experienced in working in the aerospace environment or equivalent industry Able to understand SPC data collection and record results Interpret engineering drawings Knowledgeable working with pneumatic handheld deburring equipment, deburring tools, the use of pillar drills and drilling fixtures Experienced in measuring equipment Vernier, micrometer plug gauges, screw plug gauges Experienced in drill deburr Possessing a mechanical background Roles offered on a PAYE basis only.
