Role: Deep Hole Borer Location: Sheffield Shift Pattern: Days (Mon - Fri) 6.00am-2.30pm / Nights (Mon-Thurs) 06.00pm - 04.00am Salary:  Competitive DOE Responsibilities: Set and operate deep hole boring machines to produce high-precision components Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications Use precision measuring tools to ensure components meet tight tolerances Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on machinery Adhere to health & safety and quality standards at all times Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement Requirements: Proven experience in deep hole boring and precision machining Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools and measurement equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and a team-focused approach NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (desirable) Experience with CNC machining and programming (advantageous) ...
