I am working with an award winning business based in North Manchester, they are a global manufacturer and are looking to add a demand planner to their team. This person has to have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment, dealing with suppliers and other sites, concurrently within Europe and the far east. Demand Planner – Responsibilities : Responsible for achieving agreed SFD, Stock levels and CSL, monitoring ICSL, SSL for the managed portfolio. Ordering items from production sites, suppliers and co-packers and following up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales and production plan on time, first time. Maintaining and periodically reviewing the master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting models, replenishment and stock strategies. Communicating, managing and solving actual and potential supply issues. Reviewing the Sales/Production forecast of managed portfolio of a country or group of countries on short, mid and long term in quantity or value. Additional Responsibilities: Managing co-packing activities with a main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment. Coordinates import activities.
