We are currently recruiting a passionate Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join the culinary team at our luxury hotel. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with experience in a four or five-star hotel or fine dining environment, looking to grow and develop their pastry skills in a supportive, high-standard kitchen. You will report directly to the Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef.
Location: The Milestone Hotel & Residences Employment Type: Permanent Working Pattern : 8 Hours a Day / 5 Days a Week.
Key Responsibilities of a Demi Chef de Partie Pastry: Assist in the daily preparation and service of pastry and desserts. Support the Pastry Chef in running the section efficiently. Contribute to the creation of desserts for la carte, banqueting and afternoon tea. Maintain high standards of consistency, quality and presentation. Always ensure cleanliness and organisation of your section. Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with stock checks.
What are we looking for? Previous experience in a pastry role within a fine dining or luxury hotel environment. A foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques. A creative eye for detail and a desire to learn and grow. Strong work ethic, time management, and kitchen organisation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure as part of a team. A positive and proactive attitude toward development and guest satisfaction. Commitment to high hygiene standards and safe food handling.
