The Person:
Previous experience in a similar role
A passion for food and a willingness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
Enjoys working as part of a team and independently
Ability to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends
The Role:
Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of taste and presentation
Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your section and ensure no cross contamination
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
Contribute ideas to menu development and daily specials
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
