Chippindale Plant is one of the largest plant hire and sales companies operating out of 8 depots, in the North of England and we are currently seeking a new depot manager for our York depot. We provide a complete hire and sales service for a wide range of construction equipment, tools excavator attachments and secure portable accommodation. The company is part of the AER Rents Group who are on course to become the largest independent rental group in the UK This depot manager role combines responsibility of managing the operations of a long-established plant and tool hire depot as well as site visits to existing and potential customers. Based at York the depot services an area that covers North and East Yorkshire including Humberside. Our trade is predominantly B2B with companies ranging from sole traders to national civil engineers, but we also deal with consumers. The Key responsibilities for the depot manager role are; Focus on developing new business with a broad spectrum of customers. Expand business opportunities with existing key account customers.
