Location: Various (Westminster, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham and Islington)
Salary: £29,000 or £31,000 per annum depending on team size and complexity of service delivery
Vacancy Type: Permanent, 37.5 per week - Full-time(You will be required to work on a rota basis, covering various shifts including early and late start and finishes, alternate weekends and sleep-ins as required)

LDN London is an award-winning charity with over 60 years’ experience of supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and their families across London. We provide a range of support, from a few hours a week up to round-the clock care.
Our services include supported living, domiciliary care, outreach, short breaks, family, and community support. We help people we support and their families to choose what’s right for them.

About the role:
The Deputy/Assistant Team Manager assists the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service and enables people to stay healthy, be safe, and live well.
We are looking for Deputy/Assistant Team Managers who have excellent organisational and communication skills. Applicants will need to have experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism or PMLD (profound & multiple disabilities).
We are looking for people who have a good understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and can work collaboratively to achieve our goals. The ideal candidate will be able to self-motivate and work independently.
The post holder will be collaborating with the Team Manager to ensure effective management and coordination of a high quality, person led service, you will also be responsible for managing the shift rotas. The Deputy/ATM will be at the fore front of our services and need to promote LDN London’s core values, with a passion for supporting and caring, as well as the drive and energy to raise standards of support and service delivery.
All applicants should be computer literate and have or are working towards a Social Care qualification or equivalent. You must be willing to work alternate weekends and shifts patterns alongside their team.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be a well organised person with the ability to deliver successful outcomes. You will be confident at building relationships and hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. As a self-starter, you will be able to use your own initiative, can problem solve and prioritise, with good planning and organisational skills. In addition, you will need a positive, resilient attitude, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable.
Relevant training will be provided. Adherence to our values is core to our recruitment and will be tested through interviews and during probation.
