As Deputy General Manager, you are the engine behind the day-to-day operation. Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll drive performance, lead the team, and ensure the standards, the experience, and the numbers all land. This is a role for someone ready to step up. You’re not just running shifts - you’re helping to build the business. What you’ll be doing Driving commercial performance

Supporting delivery of site KPIs including revenue, labour, and profitability Owning specific cost lines and driving improvements Identifying opportunities to grow sales through operational delivery and team engagement Supporting key trading periods, events, and peak moments

Leading operations

Ensuring every shift delivers against brand standards Driving consistency in service, atmosphere, and execution Identifying operational gaps and implementing solutions Supporting high-volume service during peak trading

Leading and developing your team

Coaching and developing Duty Managers and supervisors Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention Building leadership capability across the team Driving a culture of accountability, energy, and continuous improvement

Owning the guest experience

Supporting delivery of a high-energy, social-first guest experience Ensuring the venue consistently delivers brand standards Monitoring guest feedback and taking action Maintaining a strong presence on the floor during key trading periods

Maintaining standards and controls

Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company policies Supporting stock, cash, and labour controls Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation Ensuring all operational procedures are followed consistently

Experience

Experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or late-night environment Proven ability to lead and develop teams Strong understanding of commercial drivers and operational controls Experience supporting or delivering site performance
