Deputy Manager - Residential Care Home Hours: 40 Hours per week Salary: £40,000 per year Location: Wells, Somerset, BA5 1WE
The Role As Deputy Manager, you will be the driving force behind our high standards of care. Working closely with the General Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys an exceptional quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Lead by Example: Motivate and inspire your team through supervised clinical practice and mentorship. Maintain Excellence: Oversee regulatory compliance and lead regular quality audits. Operational Leadership: Step up in the General Managers absence, managing everything from care standards to team dynamics.
About You We are looking for a resilient, compassionate leader with a proven track record in residential care management. To succeed, you will need: Clinical Oversight: Experience managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Management Skills: A working knowledge of HR, budget management, and occupancy/marketing. Drive: A determination to deliver quality care in an energetic, engaging environment.
