Person Power is proud to be working with a Children's Residential home based in Clacton who are seeking a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership and running of their home. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and provide supervision to workers Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home Promote a safe, nurturing environment for the young people Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Home Regulations and quality standards Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence Requirements Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards) Minimum 3years experience in a childrens residential care setting Experience in a senior or supervisory role Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations Full UK Driving License and Full Right to Work Passionate, resilient and child-focused approach If this is of interest please appl...
