Staff also benefit from discount schemes, a pension plan, and a referral bonus programme.About the RoleAs Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting the Registered Manager to deliver a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.You will help lead and develop the staff team, ensuring young people receive consistent, high-quality care that supports their emotional and behavioural needs.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will contribute to care planning, safeguarding, staff development, and the overall success of the home.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the homeLead, supervise, and develop staff to deliver high-quality care and supportPromote a therapeutic, child-centred environmentEnsure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standardsAssist with rota planning, staffing, and resource managementSupport the development and implementation of care plans and behaviour strategiesBuild positive relationships with young people, families, and external professionalsContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and best practiceStep up to manage the home in the absence of the Registered ManagerWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 2 years experience in a childrens residential settingExperience at Senior or Deputy Manager levelNVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding proceduresExperience managing rotas, staffing, and budgetsA strong, resilient, and child-focused leadership styleFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleAdditional InformationSleep-in requirement of approximately 48 per monthAll roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory referencesSafeguarding & InclusionOur client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
