This is a term-time only position and an excellent opportunity for a Level 5 qualified, high performing early years professional to join our Outstanding team.Working closely with the Nursery Manager and the wider team, the Deputy Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring that all children receive high-quality care and are supported through well-planned, engaging, and stimulating learning experiences, in line with the EYFS and Montessori curriculum.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Manager in the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nurseryEnsure safeguarding and welfare requirements are fully met at all timesAct as a key person, building strong and trusting relationships with children and familiesLead by example, supporting and mentoring staff to maintain high standards of practiceWork in partnership with parents, carers, and external professionalsContribute to the ongoing development, quality improvement, and vision of the nurseryThe Ideal Candidate Will:Be organised, caring, dedicated, and flexibleHave a genuine passion for child development and early years educationDemonstrate extensive knowledge and confident application of the EYFSHave Montessori knowledge and a creative, child-centred approach to learningHold a Level 5 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)Thrive in a leadership role that balances operational responsibility with hands-on practiceJBRP1_UKTJ
