Some benefits are discretionary and may be subject to change.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEnsure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.\n\nUnderstand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.\n\nAssist in managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.\n\nEnsure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.\n\nPromote respect and credibility for this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.\n\nInspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.\n\nMaintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.\n\nUndertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.\n\n*Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.\n\nRequirements:\n\nFull and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential\n\nLeadership experience - Essential\n\nOver 1 years’ experience of working in Early Years - Essential\n\nSound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential\n\nOver 1 years’ experience of working in a management position - Desirable.\n\nLevel 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable\n\nExperience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable\n\nTake the next step and explore a role that makes a positive impact on children’s lives.
