The role of Deputy Manager is available following the previous postholder’s successful progression to Registered Manager. This is an opportunity for someone to step into a home within a supportive culture that also has a clear pathway to leadership.

We are looking to speak with dependable Deputy Managers to deliver within a small, two-bed EBD home in Hitchin to support its continued stability.

The home maintains a calm rhythm and both children are currently settled.

One child has recently experienced bereavement and is receiving structured grief support, and so the presence of the team must remain steady, consistent and attuned.

The ideal person

• Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

• Level 4 Family Practitioner also considered

• Step ups from senior roles will be considered

• Hours: Monday–Friday, broadly 9–5 with occasional flexibility when needed
