We are searching for a Deputy Manager to join the team working alongside our Registered Manager in Bournemouth, providing vital support to both our dedicated team and the people we support. Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.​ ​ To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. ​ ​ Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship. ​ ​A day in the life of a Deputy Manager includes: * Providing support, guidance and mentoring to staff within the service whether that be with supervisions, 1-2-1 or monthly team meetings. * Onboarding new starters to ensure they understand the role and are equipped to deliver high quality support. * Completing audits and spot checks. * Maintaining care and support plans are consistent and up to date. * Ensuring the service operates to budget. * Setting objectives which are clear, aspirational and achievable for our colleagues and people we support. * Provide on call support to colleagues on a rota basis. ​ What makes us proud to be apart of AU! ​ Our ideal candidate would have: * NVQ level 3 in social care/management (preferred) * Autism qualification (preferred) * Reliability and commitment to delivering best practice. * An understanding and previous experience with CQC. * Excellent organisational, interpersonal and report writing skills. * A readiness to work un-social hours when required, including evenings, weekends and sleep-in duties in line with service requirements. * Experience with autism and behaviour that challenges. * Attend annual reviews as part of an MDT (multi disciplinary team) for the people we support. ​ Why join us?
