Reporting directly to the Store Director, the Deputy Store Director will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, elevating client experience and leading a dynamic team within a fast-paced luxury setting.


This position is ideal for an accomplished luxury retail leader seeking a significant next step within a globally recognised flagship.


The Role

  • Support the Store Director in leading, inspiring and developing the sales and management teams
  • Drive sales performance, ensuring the achievement of turnover targets, KPIs and payroll budgets
  • Champion a strong clientelling culture, ensuring the highest level of personalised service and long-term client retention
  • Identify and nurture future talent, implementing structured development and succession plans
  • Partner with HR and senior retail leadership on recruitment and team planning
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, maintaining strong visibility with both clients and teams
  • Support the execution of in-store activations, events and brand initiatives
  • Monitor commercial performance, analysing buying trends, client behaviour and profit margins, presenting insights to senior leadership
  • Conduct annual performance reviews, providing clear, constructive feedback and development pathways
  • Oversee stock management, inventory control and operational excellence
  • Ensure seamless onboarding, training and continuous development of new hires


Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in luxury retail management, ideally within a flagship boutique environment
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving strong commercial results
  • Extensive luxury clientelling experience with the ability to build and retain high-value client relationships
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
  • Inspirational leadership style with a collaborative and inclusive approach
  • Excellent organisational and operational management skills
  • Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous
  • Highly presentable, brand-focused and confident representing a prestigious luxury house
