Deputy Ward Manager - PICU

Up to £43,134 - £46,434 (dependant on experience)

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Ward Manager to support leadership on our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

About the Role:

Support the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care Lead and supervise a team, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment Contribute to care planning, risk management, and staff development Promote , dignity, and best clinical practices

What You’ll Need:

NMC registration (RMN) 18 months+ post-registration experience (PICU or acute preferred) Experience in clinical supervision or trained as an assessor Strong communication and leadership skills

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability

Experience:

Nursing: 2 years (required) Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

NMC (required)
