About the Company

Our client is a global brand and design consultancy recognised for shaping category-defining consumer brands across their brandworld and through to packaging. Their London studio is home to a diverse, collaborative team who push boundaries, challenge convention and deliver exceptional creative work.


The Role

This is a leadership position for a strategic, inventive and team-focused Design Director with amazing craft and rigour. You will elevate the creative output, nurture client relationships, mentor designers and bring bold, insight-driven ideas that shape the future of consumer branding and packaging.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and push strategic and creative direction across multiple projects.
  • Build strong client relationships and understand their culture, motivations and ambition.
  • Guide the team to deliver category-breaking creative across connected experiences.
  • Present work with clarity, storytelling and conviction.
  • Mentor, develop and inspire designers at all levels.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, account and project management teams.
  • Ensure high quality creative is delivered while balancing commercial priorities.
  • Seek opportunities to grow client relationships and expand the agency’s offer.
  • Stay curious, share trends and be the go-to source for insights and inspiration.


About You


  • A natural storyteller who excites and inspires clients and colleagues.
  • Strong experience in consumer branding and packaging.
  • Confident shaping creative strategy and translating it into impactful design.
  • Industry-leading skills when "On The Tools."
  • Happy to see roll-outs through over extended brand lifetimes.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused and commercially aware.
  • A generous mentor with a collaborative mindset and high creative standards.
  • Able to handle difficult conversations with clarity and integrity.
  • Experience working within large creative or global brand environments.
  • A track record of growing client accounts and elevating team culture.
