An exciting opportunity has opened within a leading engineering organisation for a Design Engineer specialising in Air & Fuel Systems . This role offers the chance to work on advanced engine platforms (C4.4 / C7.1) and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions from concept through to production.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of the design and development of air and fuel system components , delivering high-quality, reliable engineering solutions. Your day-to-day will include: Leading design and development projects to meet time, cost, and quality targets Creating and developing components using CAD (Creo) and PLM (Teamcenter) Running and leading design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders Working closely with suppliers using APQP to deliver robust solutions Assessing technical risks (FMEA) and defining validation plans (DVP&R) Investigating and resolving issues using structured methodologies (8D) Collaborating with global teams to implement engineering solutions Supporting production release with technical documentation
