Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a multinational, multi-industry company, on a contract basis until the end of August 2026.\n\n Salary: From £450 - £570 per day (Inside IR35).\n\n In this contract you will be leading and delivering design for protection and control systems and associated auxiliary systems at Transmission and Distribution levels. \n\n Your Background:\n\nHNC/HND in related engineering field.\nKnowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV).\nUnderstanding and knowledge of Distribution Network Operator, Grid etc. standards and drawing practices. \nPrevious experience as a CDAE and experience with major contractors such as Grid, SSE, Siemens, or GE is preferable.The Company:\n Our client is a multinational company in a range of industries including, renewable energy.\n\n The Location:\n The role is hybrid, primarily home-based with occasional meetings at the Birmingham office.\n\n Apply:\n It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
