Summary
This role is hands-on and varied, offering exposure across various voltages and design. You’ll be mentored and developed by experienced engineers to accelerate your technical knowledge and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Producing general arrangements, layouts, single line diagrams, technical submittals, and reports • Supporting Senior Engineers with design calculations, documentation, and value engineering • Assisting Tendering Engineers and Project Managers with drawings and day-to-day technical challenges • Producing “as-built” drawings and ensuring design outputs are accurate, buildable, and cost-conscious • Maintaining design standards, drawing registers, and technical documentation in line with our Business Management System (BMS) Key Responsibilities • Prepare compliant designs in line with customer requirements, ENA, DNO & IDNO G81 standards, BS7671 and our BMS • Produce accurate construction and as-built drawings • Support with technical submittals and design documents for projects and tenders • Work closely with Senior Engineers, Tendering Engineers, and Project Managers • Engage with external stakeholders to clarify technical requirements • Escalate design challenges quickly to minimise business impact • Ensure all design work supports NERS accreditations, our BMS and project financials • Participate in design audi...
