This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same, offering the chance to work alongside industry experts and make a real impact on large-scale projects.

In this role, you will support the Design Team in delivering outstanding masterplanning and design solutions, from early-stage concepts through to planning applications. You’ll work closely with internal teams, landowners and a range of external consultants including architects, urban designers, engineers, and landscape architects to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the highest standard.

You’ll be producing outline masterplans, detailed layouts, development briefs and concept designs, as well as coordinating external design consultants and managing the design phase of planning applications. The role requires both creative flair and technical expertise, with the ability to balance design quality with commercial and planning requirements.

You’ll have an urban design or architectural qualification, a solid understanding of residential layout principles, and experience working on large-scale housing developments ideally with exposure to mixed-use or commercial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential, along with the ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in managing relationships and working independently
  • Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable taking ownership and pushing back when needed
  • A strong communicator and collaborator, both internally and externally

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in large-scale residential masterplanning
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • Knowledge of drainage and landscape design principles (advantageous)

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative yet commercially driven role, enjoys variety in their work and wants to be part of a supportive, ambitious team.
