Our client, partnering with a Strategic Delivery Partner on the Southern Water AMP8 Infrastructure Framework, is currently seeking a Civils Design Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital for delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Southern Water region.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLeading the design delivery of critical infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery\nManaging multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met\nEnsuring compliance with technical standards, budget, and programme requirements\nOverseeing the production of design documentation\nCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders\nConducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies\nProviding technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle\nEnsuring quality control and adherence to project specifications\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector\nStrong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software\nProficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams\nUnderstanding of project management processes and technical standards\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to work effectively in a hybrid/flexible working environment\nRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification\nExperience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies\n\nAbout the Position:\n\nJob Title: Civils Design Manager\n Location: Southern Water Region (Hybrid/Flexible)\n Contract Type: 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)\n Start Date: ASAP \nIf you are an experienced Civil Design Engineer looking to progress into a management role and have a passion for water infrastructure projects, we encourage you to apply now to join our client's dedicated team in the Southern Water region
