Your Role...

Supporting the Development team, which provides transport planning, civil infrastructure, and urban design services on development and masterplanning projects, you will play a key role in our growth in Leeds and nationally. We seek a Technical Director/Director with a background in development transport planning, well-connected within the local and regional markets, focusing on client engagement, business development, market strategy, and technical leadership. You will also support our initiative to diversify our team in terms of staff and revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in winning and delivering projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy, with experience across public and private sectors. Sector specialization is a plus but not essential. You should be skilled in managing large tender proposals and identifying new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients, as well as internal sector leads and colleagues across WSP.
