We are partnered with a globally recognised consumer goods business with a strong international presence and a portfolio of well-known household brands. Over the past decade, the organisation has made significant investment in building a sophisticated digital ecosystem spanning consumer platforms, websites, marketing technology and data infrastructure. As digital capability continues to evolve, they are now looking to appoint a Digital Platforms & Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering and optimising their digital technology landscape. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of digital, data, marketing and technology, with responsibility for driving platform delivery, enabling data-driven capabilities and supporting the broader digital roadmap.
The Role
As Digital Platforms & Programme Manager, you will take ownership of key digital platform initiatives, leading delivery across websites, marketing technology and consumer data platforms.
You will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring digital platforms are not only delivered effectively but are continuously optimised to support personalisation, consumer engagement and overall digital performance. This role combines programme delivery, platform ownership and strategic input into the organisation’s evolving digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital platform initiatives, from requirements gathering through to implementation and optimisation
- Own and contribute to the digital technology roadmap, ensuring platforms support wider business and marketing objectives
- Act as a central point of coordination across digital, marketing, data and technology teams
- Translate business needs into clear platform requirements, delivery roadmaps and actionable plans
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across websites, martech, CRM/CDP and consumer engagement platforms
- Ensure effective integration of data and platforms to enable improved personalisation and customer journeys
- Oversee relationships with external technology vendors and partners, ensuring quality and efficiency in delivery
- Manage timelines, risks and dependencies across programmes to ensure successful outcomes
- Support development of measurement frameworks and ensure platforms enable actionable insights and performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy and security standards across digital platforms
Requirements
- Experience delivering digital platform, martech or data-driven initiatives within complex organisations (ideally FMCG or consumer-focused environments)
- Strong programme or project management experience across digital, technology or transformation initiatives
- Experience working with websites, marketing technology stacks, CRM/CDP or digital data platforms
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, digital, data and technology teams
- Comfortable translating technical concepts into business-friendly solutions and delivery plans
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing external delivery partners
- Understanding of digital analytics, data flows or customer journey optimisation is advantageous
- Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and digital delivery environments
