OverviewWinckworth Sherwood LLP is seeking a Diocesan Registry Administrator to support the Registrar of two large and complex dioceses within our ecclesiastical law practice.ResponsibilitiesSupport the operation of the Faculty jurisdiction and the Consistory Court.Assist with the legal processes for ordination and licensing of clergy, including preparation of documentation.Handle applications for marriage licences and respond to queries about marriage law.Respond to a wide range of legal and procedural queries.About youYou thrive on a busy, varied day, managing tasks concurrently.You pride yourself on high-quality documentation and enjoy working in ecclesiastical law.You value building close working relationships with senior clergy, diocesan administrators, parish clergy, lay officers, volunteers, and the public.You have some understanding of the structures and workings of the Church of England and are enthusiastic to develop your knowledge and skills.
