This position reports directly to the Head of M&A and Strategic Investments. The team consists of 4 directors, each with a set of priorities. We operate as a cohesive team to meet our continuously shifting priorities and are accountable for our individual portfolio of work. Using your communication and interpersonal skills, strong judgment, and broad range of M&A and investing experience, you will coordinate complex processes across large teams and take responsibility for day-to-day management of transactions. Your confidence and partnership will help others get to objective as you work with them to lead through transaction.
Day to day leadership and management of a broad range of merger and acquisition transactions through the entire deal life cycle;
Responsibility to coordinate across workstreams and ensure projects complete on time and on favorable terms;
Analyze businesses and opportunities to assist the company in executing successful acquisitions;
Create and manage financial and valuation models to inform action for investments;
Assist in pipeline management and analysis of inbound opportunities;

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
5+ years of M&A experience at investment banking, management strategy consulting.
~ Experience in merger and acquisition transactions through the entire deal life cycle.
~ Demonstrating previous experiences in leading various financial modeling and valuation exercise and communicating modeling and M&A concepts to others without financial training
~ Candidate must be comfortable leading broad teams in a matrix organization and demonstrate strong project management skills
~ Ideally has pervious relevant experience in or interacting with a publicly listed company with global operations

Location: This is hybrid 2-3 days a week work from the S&P Global New York or London office.
