Director – Community Engagement Board

£90,000

Remote (Heathrow travel 2–3x per week)

3.5-year contract

I’m currently partnering with an independent, non-profit body overseeing community engagement linked to a major UK infrastructure programme.

This is a high-impact, senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and is passionate about public value and meaningful community engagement.

You will:

✔️ Establish and lead an independent Community Engagement Board

✔️ Shape strategy and oversee delivery of its work programme

✔️ Represent the Board in senior forums

✔️ Build trusted relationships across communities, public bodies and project stakeholders

✔️ Lead governance, board operations and a small supporting team

We’re looking for a credible senior leader with:

▪️ Experience delivering high-profile, multi-agency programmes

▪️ Strong public policy and stakeholder engagement expertise

▪️ Governance and board-level experience

▪️ Excellent influencing and communication skills
