About the Team
As a Contracts Officer at Fitch Solutions, you will play a pivotal role within the sales team by providing essential contract support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with a dynamic and driven team, contributing directly to the success of our sales operations.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including subscription and license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and amendment agreements - aiming to minimize legal, commercial, and financial risks to Fitch Solutions.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and Legal Counsel to establish appropriate terms and conditions for contracts.
- Initiate and manage projects designed to mitigate commercial risk within the Commercial Organization.
- Serve as the primary customer interface for large, complex contracts.
- Revise and develop a comprehensive library of precedent contract terms.
- Assist in, and when appropriate, lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, including legal identity forms and statements of accounts.
- Investigate breaches of Subscription and License Agreements (SLAs) by subscribers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in collaboration with operational teams.
- Support the fee negotiation process alongside the Sales team, subscribers, and their appointed legal representatives.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Sales team to facilitate the settlement and payment of outstanding fees related to SLA breaches.
