About the Role
The firm is seeking a commercially driven leader to establish and grow its Building Surveying service line in Manchester. This is a strategic hire with a strong emphasis on business creation, market positioning, and team leadership rather than purely technical delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a new service offering, developing a client base, and leading a growing team, playing a pivotal role in the firm’s regional expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth & Leadership
Lead the establishment and strategic growth of a new Building Surveying service line in Manchester Develop and execute a clear business plan to drive revenue and market presence Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team as the service line expands Create a strong team culture focused on collaboration, performance, and growthBusiness Development
Identify and secure new business opportunities across key sectors Demonstrate a strong ability to win new business and generate sustainable revenue Build and maintain senior client relationships Position the firm as a leading provider of building surveying services in the regionClient & Project Oversight
Oversee delivery of projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction Provide strategic advice to clients across a range of property matters Collaborate with other service lines to drive cross-selling opportunitiesCommercial & Operational Input
