AGFA DPS is a division of the Agfa‑Gevaert Group, headquartered in Mortsel, Belgium, and is listed on Euronext Brussels (AGFB).Building on Agfa’s longstanding expertise in chemistry and deep knowledge of the Graphics industry, our Digital Printing Solutions business (DPS) has a leading position in inkjet printing.We provide sign & display and packaging companies with a range of productive yet versatile wide-format inkjet printers and inks that are powered by dedicated workflow software. In addition we are providing and developing solutions for laminate, leather and other decorative applications as well as designing high performance inkjet inks for industrial applications. All of this is underpinned by a strong IP portfolio and a wealth of human expertise.We have grown significantly in recent years and are now seeking a print systems director to help us continue that trend in the years ahead.Job PurposeTo deliver inkjet printing systems and technical capabilities that will enable the business to achieve its growth goals and vision.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDeliver portfolio projects to time, budget and quality requirements.Engage with key customers external technology partners, sales and service teams to ensure product performance insights are gained, shared and incorporated into product & technology roadmaps.Build a “no surprise” culture of transparency and key stakeholder engagement.Contribute to safe working practices and 5S standards.Contribute to the DPS business product and technology roadmapsDevelop and protect innovative IPWork with peers to drive technology and process integration and efficiency across sitesWork with external technology partners to build a robust eco system for print systemsThe PersonAble to balance high technical standards with coaching and developing team membersTo foster a safe and collaborative work environmentAble to operate in a multi-site and multicultural environmentGood communicator and empathetic listener who is able to operate in a creative technical environment and encourage continuous learningMore than 10 years of experience leading engineering teams and ideally experience of developing inkjet printing pressesA degree or higher in an engineering or scientific discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr
