My client is a leading real estate advisory business specialising in the origination, structuring, and execution of equity-focused Real Estate transactions. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Director to play a key role in originating and executing equity transactions, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the strategic development of the platform.

Role Overview

The Director will be a senior member of the advisory team, responsible for originating, structuring, and executing equity real estate transactions. The role is heavily focused on equity capital (joint ventures, minority/majority equity raises, platform investments, recapitalisations) rather than debt advisory.

The successful candidate will combine strong transaction execution skills with a proven ability to generate new business, manage senior client relationships, and lead transactions from origination through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Origination & Execution

• Originate and execute equity-focused real estate transactions across relevant asset classes
• Advise clients on equity structuring, joint ventures, and capital partnering strategies
• Lead transactions end-to-end, including marketing, negotiations, due diligence, and closing
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers (legal, tax, technical, valuation)

Client Relationship Management

• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with developers, investors, family offices, funds, and asset owners
• Act as a trusted senior adviser to clients on equity strategy and capital markets positioning
• Leverage existing networks to generate repeat business and new mandates

Business Development

• Proactively originate new equity advisory mandates through market engagement and networking
• Contribute to the growth strategy of the advisory platform and expansion into new opportunities
• Represent the firm in the market, enhancing brand presence and reputation

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members on transactions and client work
• Support the development of best practices, processes, and market intelligence within the team

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

• Significant experience in real estate advisory, investment banking, private equity, or principal investing
• Demonstrable track record in equity real estate transactions (not debt-led roles)
• Strong understanding of real estate capital structures, joint ventures, and investor requirements
• Established network across investors, developers, and capital providers
