Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a landmark £300M commercial development in Central London. This is a senior leadership role overseeing all stages of the project, from procurement through to completion, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the construction of a major £300M commercial development in Central London.
  • Lead and manage the full procurement process, including contractor selection, tendering, and contract negotiations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all third-party stakeholders, including investors, consultants, local authorities, and tenant representatives.
  • Oversee and mentor a junior team member, ensuring their professional development and effective contribution to the project.
  • Drive the project programme, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Oversee risk management, health & safety compliance, and quality control across all project phases.
  • Resolve high-level project issues promptly and effectively to maintain momentum and protect project objectives.


Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial developments in Central London, ideally with contract values exceeding £100M.
  • Strong expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and contractor management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage complex third-party relationships and negotiations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK construction regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices.
