Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Dispatch Manager on a temp to perm basic to work for our lovely friendly client in Taplow. This exciting opportunity could develop into more of a senior position acting as an Operations Manager in the near future. The successful candidate will be running their pallet delivery operation.

Temp to perm Monday to Friday Taplow 8.30am - 5.30pm 4 weeks holiday (rising to 5 after 1 year) plus Bank Holidays GBP36k to GBP42k per annum

Duties of the Dispatch Manager: - Looking after 12 vehicles and over 200 pallet deliveries and collections each day. - Route planning. - Delivery issue resolution. - Driver allocation and coordination. - Transport filing systems. - Administration.

Requirements of the Dispatch Manager: - Must have experience in HGV or courier operations and coordination. - Must have good geographical knowledge of SL and UB Postcodes and surrounding counties. - Proven experience in pallet or parcel distribution. - Familiar with transportation management systems. - Excellent admin skills. - Excellent communication skills - delivering clear and precise instructions. - Route planning experience. - Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail. - Excellent customer service skills. - Excellent IT skills (using three screens to work from). - Fork lift experience an advantage. - Experience managing over 10 drivers previously. · Happy to...
