Job Title: Dispatch Operative (Plant Factory)

The Dispatch Operative is responsible for picking, preparing, and dispatching plant orders to customers and retail locations. The role ensures all products are handled carefully, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare plant orders based on customer requirements
Inspect plants for quality, health, and damage before dispatch
Pack plants securely to prevent damage during transport
Label orders accurately and complete necessary paperwork
Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Move stock between greenhouse, warehouse, and dispatch areas
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Work to daily targets and meet dispatch deadlines

Working Hours

Days: Sunday to Friday (6 days per week)
Start time: 6:00am
Finish time: Varies depending on workload ("until finish")

Skills & Requirements

Good level of physical fitness (lifting, bending, standing)
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work at pace and meet deadlines
Reliable and punctual (early starts required)
Team player with a good work ethic
