Job Title: Dispute Resolution Solicitor

Location: Cardiff – Hybrid Working

Salary: £45,000+

Role Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team based in Cardiff.


This role offers exposure to a varied caseload of contentious matters and would suit a newly qualified solicitor or lawyer with up to four years’ PQE looking to develop their litigation career in a dynamic and supportive environment.


The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers and clients on a broad range of disputes, gaining hands-on experience in case management, court proceedings, negotiations and client advisory work.


This position offers excellent scope for professional development and progression within a well-established litigation team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court papers
  • Attending hearings, conferences and client meetings
  • Negotiating with opposing parties to resolve disputes effectively
  • Advising clients on litigation strategy and potential outcomes
  • Supporting wider team initiatives and mentoring junior team members where appropriate


Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (NQ – 4 years PQE)
  • Litigation or dispute resolution experience
  • Strong organisational and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a busy legal environment
