Job DescriptionJob Description We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Solicitor to join our fast-paced Representation Team in Aberdeenshire. The Advice & Representation Teams protect the Council's interests in Courts and Tribunals and provide cohesive and proactive legal advice across all Services and to Elected Members. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of legal topics including Education, Employment, Community Care, Housing, Anti-Social Behaviour, Permanence and Child Protection, ensuring no two days are the same. We champion flexible working and understand the importance of balancing professional ambition with personal wellbeing—whether that’s remote working, adjusted hours, or hybrid arrangements. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
