Job Description

Door Automation Engineer (Long-Term Temporary Contract)\n V7 are looking for experienced Door Automation Engineers to support a major 5-year public sector contract. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work across housing developments, schools and elderly care facilities throughout the North East, with occasional travel to Scotland (around twice per month).\n Our client is a fast-growing company specialising in fire, security and automated access systems.\n \nThe Contract\n • Service and maintenance of automatic door systems\n • Systems include: RECORD, ASSA ABLOY, TORMAX and similar\n • Gate and barrier work available if you have experience in FAAC, CAME, GAZE etc.\n • Covering public buildings and residential settings across the North East\n • Occasional travel to Scotland (approx. twice per month)\n \nBenefits\n • Long-running contract with a client\n • Monday–Friday, with weekend work available\n • 6-month rolling contract within a 5-year project\n • Up to £40 per hour + overtime\n • Outside IR35, paid weekly\n • Strong pipeline of ongoing work\n \nRequirements\n • Proven experience servicing and maintaining automatic doors\n • ADSA certification preferred\n • Gate experience beneficial but not essential\n • Background working on commercial and residential sites\n • DBS required\n\nV7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of , , , reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, or maternity, , or belief, , or .
