We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Maintenance Engineer to join our reactive & maintenance team. Core hours are between 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday.

You will possess a strong understanding of drainage systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead projects effectively. This role involves maintaining and supervising drainage systems, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with your peers.

What you'll be doing 

• Carrying out maintenance to buildings' drainage systems, managing water flow and preventing flooding
• Installation of access points to enable maintenance of drainage infrastructure
• Understanding drainage schematics for drainage works to be carried out at each site
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and efficiently
• Providing technical support and guidance to team members and clients
• Collaborating with other engineers
• Maintaining accurate job report cards and keeping our portal up-to-date
• Assisting in troubleshooting issues related to drainage systems - employing logical reasoning for problem-solving
• Ensuring all work is carried out adhering to health and safety regulations.

About you 

• Proven mechanical knowledge using Spartan & Picote mechanical machines related to drainage cleaning and clearing.
• Experience in High pressure water jetting and carrying out CCTV condition surveys
• Strong leadership skills with experience in training apprentices
• Proficiency in reading schematics for drainage maintenance projects
• Ability to maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of work
• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction at each site
• Are an effective communicator and take pride in your work
