Position: Drama Teacher (Full Time)
Location: MEA Central, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full time, until July 2026

MEA Central is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. This is a full‑time position running through to July 2026, offering the chance to make a strong impact within a thriving and supportive school community. The successful candidate will teach Drama to students from year 7 to Year 10, as well as some general class cover duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging and high‑quality Drama lessons across KS3 and some KS4
Contribute to the cultural life of the school through performances and productions.
Provide general cover across other subjects when required
Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and progress
Plan, assess, and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Drama
Confident classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management
Flexible and willing to support with general cover duties
Committed to the development and success of all students
