As a Driver LCV (B) based in Colchester you’ll be responsible for: Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies across Essex and Suffolk.
Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as toilets, boilers, sinks etc.
Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.
General admin and using the computer to print off the run list, stock transfers etc.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm or 7.30am - 4.30pm, along with 2 Saturday's per month 8am - 12noon paid at standard rate overtime.
And here’s what we’d like you to have: Full UK Driving licence
Excellent communication skills
Confidence using computers and experience using a PDA
W illingness to undertake further training and help in all areas of the branch.
