Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to support delivery drivers with the delivery to customers properties, stores, and depots. This role involves working as part of a two-person team alongside the driver and requires heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the driver with the delivery
Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
Carrying products into customers homes, stores, and depots
Ensuring goods are handled safely and delivered in good condition
Providing professional and helpful customer service during deliveries
Supporting the driver with delivery routes and paperwork when required
Working Hours:
Start times between 04:00 06:00
Shift lengths vary depending on delivery locations and the amount of stock to be delivered
Typical shifts can last 1012 hours
Pay:
£12.21 per hour
Requirements:
Physically fit due to heavy lifting
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work early morning starts
Good teamwork and communication skills
Previous delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
