ermanent About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to support safe, efficient depot operations by ensuring all drivers are trained, competent, and compliant. Youll deliver inductions, refresher training, and driver assessments while promoting best practice and continuous improvement across the fleet. Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive 5-day driver inductions and ongoing refresher training

Conduct driver assessments and post-incident retraining

Maintain accurate training and competence records

Monitor driver performance and support behavioural improvements

Communicate updates on vehicle changes and new procedures

Work closely with management to ensure operational compliance and safety standards are met

What Were Looking For

Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience (multiple vehicle modes preferred)

Proven experience delivering driver assessments or training

Valid Class 2 HGV Licence , Digital Tachograph , and up-to-date CPC

Good understanding of HGV mechanics , vehicle checks , and legislation (WTD)

Strong communication and coaching skills

Flexibility to work early mornings, late finishes, nights, or weekends as required
