An excellent opportunity has arisen for a practical and reliable Driver/Handyman to join a private household in a permanent position.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who takes pride in providing hands-on support across various aspects of household operations. This role offers diversity in responsibilities, a chance to showcase your skills, and contribute to a well-functioning household.
Responsibilities
As a Driver/Handyman, you will take on a dynamic role that includes but is not limited to:
Driving and Transportation: Conduct train , airport and ofifce runs, transport family members safely, and handle other driving duties as required.
General Maintenance and Handyman Duties: Perform repairs, upkeep, and maintenance to ensure the household and property are in excellent order.
Household Assistance: Provide assistance with cleaning and other hands-on support when necessary.
Car Valeting and Maintenance: Ensure the household vehicles are clean, serviced, and in proper working condition.
Errands: Run errands efficiently, including shopping, post collections, and more.
Pet Care: Assist in the care of household pets, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Supporting with Entertaining: Help prepare and manage household events, including setup and support during gatherings.Qualifications
We are looking for a committed, well-rounded, and skilled individual with:
Proven experience working in private households (preferred)
Strong practical and DIY skills, with the ability to handle various repair and maintenance tasks.
A clean and valid driving license with a reliable driving record.
A high level of trustworthiness, discretion, and confidentiality.
The capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility, with a proactive and adaptable attitude to accommodate evolving household needs.
Physical stamina to handle hands-on and sometimes demanding tasks.
This role requires reliability, adaptability, and the willingness to provide consistent support to a busy household. By joining the team, you will be a valued member ensuring the smooth running of the home.Weekdays and occasiaonal weekends
Periodic foreign travel with the family to support as above
