The role - Design & Technology Teacher

A well-resourced and forward-thinking secondary school in the London Borough of Islington is seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The role is available for an immediate start or from September and will be paid on the Inner London MPS/UPS scale.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, planning engaging schemes of work, and ensuring students develop strong practical, technical, and evaluative skills. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

The successful Design & Technology Teacher must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have a strong understanding of the current DT curriculum. Experience teaching exam classes at KS4 is highly desirable.
